If you are a native Washingtonian, than snow in DC is not that unusual (as I recall from my distant youth, great snowy winters). If you are relatively new to Washington (the past 10 or so years), snow in the Capital City is not something you have seen a lot of. Longing for the days of my youth, I have been cheering on our recent weather pattern of cold and snowy days…just what winter should be. There are so many vantage points to capture the beauty of Washington in winter. This was Iwo Jima on a recent frosty morning.
